Merge to HDR Pro corrupted

It's back. This issue has occurred previously in other versions as well across previous versions of Windows. I'm currently on a newly built PC so it can't be hardware specific beccause the same thing has happened before using different hardware. PS Version is 23.0.2. Bridge Version is 12.0.0. Steps needed to reproduce, select files in either Bridge or via the File/Automate/merge to HDR Pro in PS.
