Merging Images

I have to put one object into a photo for my class assignment and make it look "realistic." In order to make it realistic I have to make it quite small but it looks blurry from far away yet is actually clear up close. Any suggestions?

    Get some glasses.

    It would help if you posted a screen shot of the image on here.

      That would be helpful if that was actually what I meant. This is the sort of blur I meant, thank you for the advice though.

      Presumably you're talking about the pixelated image of Tinklerbell – she seems to be low res – check out the resolution.
