Migrating files from Photoshop 2019 to Photoshop 2020

Question

Hello, for some reason the files that I created using photoshop 2019 will not open using phothsop 2020. I am trying to open the files in 2020 version of photoshop so that I can then save them to cloud document. Any help on how to transfer files from photoshop 2019 to photshop 2020 OR how to move 2019 photoshop synced files to creative cloud. Thank you!

Hi there,

The files you created using Photoshop 2019 should open normally with Photoshop 2020 without any issues. You can go to the File menu > Open and then navigate to the file you wish to open to open them.

Please try to open the files and let us know if you get any error while trying to open them.

If you wish to sync the files using the Creative Cloud storage, please make sure you are signed in to the Creative Cloud application and move the files to the Creative Cloud Files folder that is created on the computer and allow the files to completely sync.
