Minimize & Maximize app, panels, and doc

When I minimize the app in Mac OS, it only minimizes the "background" but neither the panels nor the open image. Same thing happens when I maximize from the dock. Is there a menu item or shortcut to do all at the same time?

You can go to Photoshop>Hide Photoshop

Sounds like you have photoshop set to open documents as floating windows rather than tabs and have one or more panels undocked.

Then you could do Cmd+Tab to show photoshop.
