Missing audio file in GIF

I have saved an animation I created as a gif file - via the 'save for web' tool. It has saved correctly, only it's missing all the audio files I added.

Does anyone know how to save a gif and still keep my audio files. Note, it cannot be saved as an MP3 because I need to eventually add the gif onto a pdf.

If you want audio, you'll have to export as a movie (which can be embedded into a PDF). But keep in mind that not all devices will be able to play a video in a PDF file.

The only option you have, when exporting from Photoshop, to keep sound with your animation, is to export as video.

GIF doesn't support sound. You can't have a gif with sound in it.

GIF89a doesn't support audio.

 

MP3 is an audio only format.

 

PDF can contain video data:
