Missing file extension vs JEPG 2000 in saving Nikon Z9 NEF file

I just did the Mac OSVentura upgrade and tried to process Nikon Z9 NEF files in Photoshop.  In saving the files I only had the option of JPEG 2000 as a file extension in saving as jpg file.  I saved the file the JPEG 2000 (with an extension of jpf) and tried to upload to FB, but the file wasn't reconized and wouldn't upload.

No issues with preveious OS or PS when saving the files or uploading the file.  Its great that the new OS/PS reconises the NEF files, but this a major problem in saving the file!  Did I miss something in a setup...??

You want to either choose "Save a Copy" instead of Save, or use Export > Export As, or Export > Save for Web.

Or enable "Enable legacy 'Save As'" in the File Handling preferences: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/saving-images.html
