Mona.dll missing

Hey. I can't open images in photoshop. When I try to I get an error message saying mona.dll is missing? Has anyone any ideas on how I might fix this?

    Hi aoifeb57667329,

    Sorry that you're getting an error message "Mona.dll is missing" while opening images in Photoshop.

    Which version of Photoshop are you using and does the error also appears if you create a new file from the "File> New" menu in Photoshop?

    I'd suggest that you reinstall Photoshop from the Creative Cloud desktop app(if using the CC version) or use the Installation media/Downloaded setup. This .DLL file seems to be related to the Dynamic link library.
