Most Simple Task Generative AI Still Cannot DO

I have been trying to use Adobe firefly to turn the black t shirt in this photo white, and without failure it never works ever, any time I try. It's shocking to me how this is supposed to be the best AI software available and yet you can tell it explicitly not to include a certain color, (i.e. black) and it makes the entirety of what it was supposed to generate (the t shirt) black. Ludicrous if you ask me. If anyone here can help me figure this out, I would greatly appreciate because I am tearing hair out at this point, this task should be the most simple of tasks.

    AI has to be trained. In your use case, it would need to be trained on thousands of images of T-shirts in different settings with different colour changes. I don't believe that this use case was included in the training data.

    First of all this result is not very acurate. We do not understand how the cigar can be levitating in front of this ugly guy face.

    It would be interesting to see you prompt.

    Also I am surprised that Adobe AI authorize some fun with real people.

    Once an image is produced, it is rather difficult even with Photoshop to convert so dark black to white in a realistic way.

    I would try the same prompt with other AI such as Mid Journey or Dall•E to compare if you can get better results…
