Move in actions no working properly

Hello. When replaying an action the move function doesn't work properly. Layers are placed in the wrong position. Sometimes the same action will work perfectly when played from the arrow in the actions box, but not from the batch tool. This happens with the latest version of Photoshop and all the old ones I have on my Mac. I would appreciate any help.
