Move tool not working in April 2024 and some

Hi,

The move tool does not work properly, regardless what I do.

I want it to move my objects without using transform.

I have tried auto-select on and off, show transform controls on and off, it doesn't move.

To use the move function, I have to use transform.

I also want to not use Shift to proportionally transform, like it was in 2023, when it was defaulted to transform proportionally.

What do I need to do to have these?

I use 25.7.0 Release, OS Sonoma 14.4.1 (23E224)

I reinstated the app and Heal tool also doesn't work properly with all its subtools...

At this point I'm starting to feel rage and manifesting an alternative on the market for all Adobe stuff.

I forgot to mention:

Alt and drag to move and copy doesn't work, although the cursor changes into the specific drag and copy function.
