Question

Moving Edges

Hi All,

I've been working on a photo in Ps and have it about the way I want it.  But it has those nasty white edges around some of the buildings where there was a white background but I substituted a dark blue sky.  Here's the before and the after:

I know there's a way to pull back the edges but I've forgotten how.

Can someone remind me?

Thanks,

Rich Howard

Use the one on the layer that turn the sky blue.  You can copy that to the other layer if need be and adjust then independently.

The problem most likely the layer mask you have for the sky needs the white area expanded some so the adjustments adjust the edge that is not being adjusted. So the sky remains white.

Hi JJ,

Thanks for addressing my question but I have a few more questions:

I have two layer masks for the sky, one darkens the sky and the other adds the blue color.  Which one should I adjust?, and,

What do I do to adjust it?

Thanks,

Rich
