My Burn tool is stuck on crosshair whilst all the other tools such as the brush is a circle

How do I change this, I had all my cursors as circles and then all of a sudden my burn too has been stuck on crosshair.

What version of photoshop and windows are you using?

A crosshair will show if the actual brush size is bigger than the document area.

You can try resetting the Burn Tool by right clicking on the Burn Tool icon in the tool options bar and clicking Reset Tool.
