My current desktop computer does not meet the minimum requirements to use neural filters

Other posts in this forum usually refer users to checking inside of the Photoshop application to see if their existing configuration meets the requirements, and mine does not.

 

But this is of no help in determining what hardware upgrades I should get to actually meet those requirements.

 

How can I decide what hardware will meet the requirements without breaking my budget? Is there some list of supported hardware I can use?

 

I would like to know what is the smallest CPU/GPU/RAM configuration I can get on Windows so that I can start planning a hardware upgrade.

I know for suggestion that PassMark score must be at least 2000 https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/directCompute.html

    Thanks for the reply, but does PassMark take into account the amount of RAM in the graphics card?

    I think there's a minimum amount that is required to run the neural filters, irrespective of the performance of the GPU itself.

     

    I guess I understand why Adobe won't give precise minimum requirements as they probably vary wildly from filter to filter and as time progresses, but this makes it very difficult for me to upgrade my computer, or buy a new one, with some degree of certainty that I won't just waste money on hardware that will not work after the purchase.

     

    I think that we should have access to more useful information to go about this task more reliably.

     

    Can anybody here help out with this?
