So I was masking a photo, and suddenly the brush line slowed down. My cursor was still moving at the speed I wanted it to but the brush line was slowly draging behind my cursor. It did feel like it was some kind of feature but I didnt turn on any option or anything. Maybe someone help mee?

Could you please post a screenshot with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Brush Settings, Options Bar, …) visible?

Have you tried disabling Smoothing?

Hi there,

Sorry to hear that your brush in Photoshop slowed down unexpectedly while drawing. That shouldn't be happening, let us try to isolate the issue and help fix it.

Which version of Photoshop are you using and what is your computer's operating system? Also, are you using a graphic tablet to draw in Photoshop?

There could be some specific symptoms the issue might occur, please checkout this article and refer the suggested solutions: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/photoshop-slow-lags.html

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Akash
