Let me explain. I have been working on an art project and while I was doing the line work which was nice and crisp. I went to a different layer to do some coloring and smudging of those colors. That is when I noticed that some line art was not right and when I went back to fix it, with the same brush and at the same size I noticed that the line was no longer crisp. It is not just one brush either. It is nearly all my brush tools.

I left the program and restarted it and the brush was still blurry. So I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and that fixed it but just for a moment. Once I left the brush tool for anything, even the eraser and go back to the brush it would be blurry again.

To answer some suggestions I have seen already through my search. No I am not using the pencil tool and the brush mode and the layer mode are set to normal.

It is really notably when I try to continue a line that I already did that was crisp and you can tell it is blurry or that something ins't right.

I appreciate the help anyone can give me.

this could be a GPU issue,

make sure you have the latest graphic driver update

try to turn off the GPU from the preferences settings, restart photoshop and check back again.
