My slides had mold, fungus, name it ...

I had my moldy, fungusy slides converted to CDs years back. Now I am trying to clean the photos.

I'm attaching part of this photo (half to hide the subject's face). Is there a simply way to remove the back mold spots?

Thanks for your suggestion. Only wish the slide (circa 1956). Had more information so that do a better job - I under if I was using Ansco or Agfachrome at that time!
