my smart object is opening in video player in photoshop

it worked just fine but suddenly this kind of error happened...

When I double click smart object to open, it opens in video player not in photoshop file.

But other smart objects imported from illustrator is working just fine

Anybody had this kind of problem? please help:(

Even I was facing the same issues! I guess when the file size of your smart object gets too big it opens it with media player.

I got the solution to this!!
1) Search Default apps

2) Go to the particular player which opens the .psb file

3) go to that particular extension and change the default app to photoshop then it will open!

Yes, that's exactly what I said. It's the file associations set in Windows.

Most likely broken file associations in Windows.

.PSB must be set to open in Photoshop. A smart object created in Photoshop will be a .PSB (not .PSD).
