Question

My Vector illustration appears Blurry in my High Res Mockup

Hello Awesome Community,

I have a question and I was hoping someone could help me understand my issue. When I add my 4000x2500 vector illustration to a Photoshop mockup as a smart object, the vector illustration looks blurry and is difficult to read. This is surprising since the mockup resolution is high-resolution.

Please see the example attached, any suggestion on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you 🙂

Could you please post screenshots taken at View > 100% with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Options Bar, …) visible?

Hey @c.pfaffenbichler I hope you're having a great day! When I zoom in 100%, the quality remains crisp. It may have just appeared blurry at a smaller scale.

Sorry for any confusion,

Vector illustrations don't have pixel dimensions, that's the whole point. Where are these coming from?

@Lumigraphics Hey! thank you for the quick response. I hope you are having a good day. I am not sure what you mean by "Where are these coming from" I inserted the illustration into a smart object and saved the changes. The screenshot I provided in the post above shows the results. I'm still new to Photoshop, so I apologize for any mistakes.

Thanks,

No problem! Photoshop has some complex rules about placing an Illustrator file and how that is handled. How does it look if you copy and paste it?
