My watermark appears automatically when opening a photo

I have Adobe Photoshop CC 2019.

When opening a file to work on a photo, my watermark automatically appears.

I would like to work on the photo first and add a watermark manually at a later time. The watermark is flat and in the same location regardless of the photo.

How do I turn off whatever is causing the watermark to appear?

Check from File > Scripts > Script Events Manager that you do not have event Open Document > do something, in this case that will be perhaps action which is placing watermark.

If you do have such event then select it, click Remove then Done button.

    Thank you, @Bojan Živković!!!

I opened up Script Events Manager and unchecked the 'Enable Events to Run Scripts/Actions' box.
The event was 'Start Application' and the script was something called 'Clean Listener.'

I clicked 'Done' and restarted PS.

I reloaded the photo and it is an untouched photo with no watermark.

    Thank you!

There must have been something else it there.  Start Application means Photoshop.  That event would  happen once each time you start Photoshop.  The Clean Listener Script would only clear out  any Scriptlistener log files that may me on your desktop.  They are only there if You have install Adobe Scriptlistener Plug-in into Photoshop it only installed if you have installed that plugin. It would take  a new document event and an open document event to watermark ever document you open in Photoshop via the Script event manager.  The Scriptlistener Photoshop Plugin records Photoshop Steps,  Action Manager code in VBS and JavaScript syntax in two log files on your desktop.

How did you automated watermarking you image image file. What kinds of Image file is watermarked.  Is the watermark on a layer or merged into your image.   Adobe software does not watermark image automatically.

JJMack - If I knew how I did it, I'd tell you. The watermark was merged onto the photo with nothing appearing in the history.

I did find a solution posted by Bojan Živković.
