Need Help command Select not available

Question

Purchased from graphic several Bokeh actions. Currently trying magic bokeh, i have establish the new layer named it area as instructed in the directions, image size is what is suggested, BUT EVERY SINGLE TIME i try to run any action bokeh or not the error message is command "select" not available.   ive tried youtube, google, read somew stuff in the forum, but it is not helping me...
can someone please provide step by step instructions on how to permenemtly get rid of this. PLEEEEZE. Im using the 2021 version of photshop 23.00 release.

Actions perform a series of steps in order. To see what your issue is, we need to see the steps in the action. Expand the action to show the steps, then resize the Actions panel wider so we can see the entire command and taller so we can see the entire action. Post a screenshot of the action. Seeing the error message is helpful.

You can also ask the vendor who created it.

It might refer to making a selection with a Selection tool first or selecting a layer first if none are selected. You haven't given us enough information (yet).
