Hi! I am a teacher using Photoshop for a school project. We have done this project for years using the older version of Photoshop. We now have the updated version of Photoshop, but our directions for adding a 'script' no longer make sense. If anyone could translate these directions to reflect the updated version of Photoshop, our school would really appreciate it!

Old Directions:

  • Open Photoshop 6.0 in Edit
  • Open a file
  • Action: New Action:
    •      Image, auto color
    •      Image size
      • Resize Image
      • Constrain Proportions
      • Choose width or height 1 inch
      • Resolution 300 dpi
    •  Stop recording & close file
  • File, Scripts, Image processor
    • Select Folder
      • Source: student scanned art
      • Destination: at new Thumbnail folder
    • Image Size
    • File Type: Convert Files to: JPEG High Quality
    • Quick Fix: Auto Levels

What version of photoshop do you have now?

What version of photoshop were you using?

Which specific part of the above instructions you posted are you having trouble with?
