Neural Filters not working in latest version of 2023 Photoshop

With the latest version (12.01) of 2023 Photoshop, the neural filters are not working with a selected portion of a photo. The eural Filter window will not open or an error message comes up saying program error.

Go to Preferences > Technology Previews

check Disable Native Canvas

Restart Photoshop.
