New computer - Valid serial number, but no qualifying product

I'm using a new computer, old one died. I've installed Photoshop CS5 and I have the serial number for that. However, it tells me I have no qualifying product. Once upon a time, I used Photoshop 7 and then CS3 (I believe) and then upgraded to CS5. I don't have a serial number for CS3, my old computer is dead and my account apparently only shows CS5 in there. Can someone help? I tried chatting with support and they lead me here, I've been trying to solve this issue for a couple of days now.

CS3's serial number is what you will need to enter when you select it as the qualifying product. You need not install CS3.

I hope you did register it with Adobe, then you can get it under your account if you forgot where you placed your packaging.

I couldn't install CS3 on my new computer if I wanted to, I no longer have the packaging. I think CS3 is on a computer I used before my last one (which is fried). I may be screwed on this one. I can't use some of my older plugins with CC

Maybe you should consider upgrading your software to go with your new computer. The Photography Plan includes Photoshop CC plus upgrades as they become available (and there are some terrific new features compared with CS, such as Select > Subject), and Lightroom. It costs around $10/£10 a month.

Adobe took down the CS3 Activation servers.  Login with to account your CS3 is registered to on Adobe.com manage you account and use Order history see if the new cs3 installer that does not require activation is available for you to download.  Adobe change this month how old software can be downloaded.  Only old registered users can now download old software.  Some user accounts like mine seem to be messed up. Where My Products are registered in My Products and my serial numbers are listed  my accounts order history is messed  up my products I purchased directly from Adobe are not there just my creative cloud plan is in there

What do you see if you open your account,  click on Plans at the top of the screen, and then click on My Products on the left side?

I only see CC, but the Adobe tech guy said he could also see CS5. He can't see further back for some reason.
