No Photoshop plug-in for Canon iPF6400

I am a photographer and am used to printing to my Canon iPF6400 printer using the Photoshop plug-in (from CS6 on my old computer). I was on the phone with Canon Help for over an hour and we could not make it work. Does anyone know any way to do this? I'm running Photoshop 2021 on OS 10.15.7 (Catalina).

You can't use anything over 2 years old on Catalina. CS6 plugins can't work. Luckily, There is a new plug-in. https://www.canon.co.uk/support/products/imageprograf/imageprograf-ipf6400.html?type=drivers&driverdetailid=tcm:14-1924370&os=macos%2010.15%20%28catalina%29&language=en

That link is just the printer driver, not the photoshop plugin. I went ahead and downloaded it to make sure and no plugin appears under Export.

I'm running Photoshop 2021 on OS 10.15.7 (Catalina). Printing works but the preview of printarea in the plugin does not work with PS2021. It works fine with 2020.

When you print, you do need to export to the plug in and not use the print function.

I am going to upgrade now to Big Sur. Wish me luck!

I was on the phone with Canon for a couple of hours while we loaded and reloaded their newest driver and plug-in over and over in various sequences of installing and uninstalling. Nothing worked. It wouldn’t spool over to the printer.
