No shortcuts are working in Photoshop

all of my photoshop shortcuts stopped working, from Ctrl + z to copy and paste, its really annyoing. ive tried updating my photoshop, resetting my prefrences, reinstalling, changing performence settings, basically everything way to fix it yet nothing works. can anyone pls help me fix it because it  is the only thing that stops me from using photoshop right now.

Do you have a keyboard sold in a different country than the language setting in Windows and/or Photoshop?

 

This is normally handled seamlessly in Windows if you set it up accordingly, but it can trip up.

yes,i have two keyboards, one sold in my country israel and one sold in the us, the Ctrl shortcuts dont work with both

The point I'm trying to make is that keyboard layout is specific to region. Here in Norway, the keyboard layout is different from the layout of a keyboard bought in, say, the UK or US.

 

This is handled by the keyboard input setting in Windows, which is separate from the main language setting. But this can accidentally get changed, because these settings are cycled with system keyboard shortcuts (shift and alt). These system shortcuts should be disabled.

 

And when that happens, Photoshop keyboard shortcuts stop working.

 

I don't know if any of this applies here, but it's one possible explanation.

    Hi, thanks for the replay, my opertaing system is windows 10 64 bit and my photoshop version is 21.0.2

    i tried the steps mentioned but it doesnt help, another thing is i cant edit the shortcuts

    Do you have a secoandary keyboard you can test Photoshop with?
    Also, do you have a tablet connected to the computer?

    Try turning off/on the Caps Lock and see if it helps.
