Node.exe causing laptop shutdown?
I have a basically brand new laptop that I use exclusively for photo editing/online to run my photography business. I've only had it about 2 weeks, and I haven't installed anything except for Adobe CC (Lightroom, Photoshop, and Bridge).
Last week when I was running batch editing in PS, I was getting an error message briefly (something about Node.exe), and my laptop was shutting down.
Now today my laptop is just shutting down when I try to run an action in PS.
My antivirus software isn't finding any issues. I only have issues when I run photoshop. I have more than enough resources to run it, I specifically bought this laptop to run photoshop. It's a Dell XPS with 1TB hard drive and 16 GB of RAM.
Can anyone help me? I'm not super tech-savvy, I've seen some answers to similar-ish issues that say to rename node.exe but I'm not sure what it does and I don't want to screw anything up. Node.exe is in the Adobe file folders. C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Creative Cloud\CCLibrary\libs
Thanks!
