Not Downloading?

Hello all, recently got a new laptop and upon trying to install photoshop and lightroom it is RIDICULOUSLY slow. Im talking hours to get to 44% then it freezed up. Now i check other sites when it happens to freeze up and it downloads PS presets fine and fast. Is anyone else having issues like this? **NOTE: It does say my system is compatible with this version of photoshop/lightroom but still takes hours to make any progress and eventually freeze
