Nothing happens when trying to Save As or Export to JPG

I installed Photoshop CC 2021 on my Mac and I'm really embarrassed about saving files. I opened a CR2 (Canon RAW), made a few adjustments, then opened the image in Photoshop and now want to save it as a JPG but the Save As dialog won't open, nothing happens. When exporting I get a dialog and can also select JPG but when I click on export again nothing happens, just nothing. I'm like an idiot opening Photoshop for the first time. What am I doing wrong?

Saving has changed in the newest PS build.

Save As now only supports non-destructive formats like PSD, TIF or PSB.

Go to Save as a copy and JPG will be there.
