object selection tool

hi

i encounter problem using object selection tool.

e.g. after i applied "object selection tool", and cmd J, then apply adjustment.

after that apply flatten. I have this msg

Could not complete your request because of a program error

What have you done for trouble-shooting so far?

Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:

Your workflow seems peculiar – why Layer via Copy to apply an Adjustment and not simply use an Adjustment Layer?
