Question... is there a way to select ALL objects found by the Object Selection tool in one go?

I see the viewing option "show all objects"

I would like to turn this into a select mask. I searched the forum and online for a script or action to do this, but I could not find it. Maybe I am too hopeful?

You can use Object Finder to help find an object, click on the object to select it, and then Shift + click on the next object to add it to your selection.

Then you might try using the Object Selection tool in Rectangle mode and make a selection around all of the objects at once.
