Question

Offset Filter, Crop & Trimm Tools

I've been having some trouble using the Offset Filter on a specific document, the illustration just doesn't match when it becomes a pattern. I am pretty sure this is happening because there's too much image "bleeding" out of my canvas, but I've used either Crop Tool and also the Trim Tool and they don't seem to work. Everytime I crop and/or trim layers, I check the "reveal all" option and there's always lots of pixels outside of my canvas. Do you guys have any idea why the images are not being cropped or trimmed? Or how I can make Offset Filter works in this case?

Hi!

When you use the Crop tool, do you have "Delete Cropped Pixels" selected in the options Bar? If not, then it just crops to the size you want, but leaves the pixels outside on the pasteboard. Make sure that is selected.

Also, in the Offset Filter, make sure to choose Wrap Around when you select what pixel values you want to offset.

Make sure you don't have any smart objects and have "Delete cropped pixels" checked in the toolbar
