Oil Paint Filter The Only "Art" Filter not working

Question

The oil paint filter is the only "art" filter not working despite my having all the correct boxes ticked:

RGB

8 Bit

Use Graphics Processor

Use Open Cl

Not Grayed Out

Every other filter works fine. In fact, I can launch the filter and the pop-up box with all its options appears, but when I apply any with preview turned on or off, not happens. The filter is not applied.

@Tom Goodman the oil paint filter is working as expected for me with Photoshop version 26.1 on Windows 11, have you tried manually resetting your Photoshop preferences
