Once again - unusable "Could not complete your request because the file is locked"
It is without doubt good software. But a serious business proposition?
After the required upgrade to 2017 I get the following error in Photoshop CC:
"Could not complete your request because the file is locked or you do not have necessary access permissions...
... Properties command in the Windows Explorer to unlock the file".
So - "unlock" the file? There is of course no such command in the Properties tab...
This error occurs a) when I try and use Select and Mask and b) when I try and record a new action.
What do I mean by asking it it is a "serious business proposition"? - Actual support from Adobe is not available until Monday. It is now Saturday. Yet my business requires that I batch process a number of files to be ready for Monday. Due to what is clearly an error in Adobe's update process my business is damaged. It isn't a serious business proposition to my mind.
If anyone knows what might be a possible solution to this error that would be great.
