hi

is there a one-click solution to move my complete PS settings/actions/brushes/palette settings to another mac/PS version?

i am using PS since years, and need to move my complete settings to another mac or photoshop beta version from time to time. with "complete settings" i mean: photoshop preferences,, brushes, actions, palette positions, palette settings, ...

- once they had "sync over cloud" to move all settings, but it never worked for me (not available)

- moving settings manually is awkward and needs lot of time on mac

What version of Photoshop are you using?

There is Edit > Presets > Export/Import Presets for different computers.

There is also Edit > Presets > Migrate presets if you have an earlier version on the same computer.

I would always recommend taking the time to explicitly save your actions to .ATN file rather than relying on the Actions Palette.psp preference file:

One can always manually make copies of preset files as one can't have too many backups:

thanks!

when i translate correctly to my german photoshop,  i found this:

"vorgaben-manager" when i enter, i see "tools" and "contour".

despite only showing "tools" and "contour", would it migrate the complete preferences to another PS version, lets say "beta"?

preferences like window positions, palettes, palette settings, brush settings, colors, brushes, color preferences, proof preview settings, etc...
