Question

Open Sans Font Photoshop - letters are above and below baseline

I'm currently designing banners for a client who uses Open Sans as their corporate font. The problem is, when the copy is small the letter falls above and below the baseline.

I tried uninstalling the font from Adobe Fonts and downloading the Google font to load it locally, but still no success.

Can anyone suggest a solution?

Assuming that “banner” means these are web banner ads, and not huge physical banners to be printed on vinyl or something…

…have you tried switching the anti-aliasing method? I don’t actually know if that’s going to help, it’s just an idea.
