Opening a drx file in Photoshop

Are .drx (DaVinci) files compatible with Photoshop (v24.1)? I've read I should be able to open them using PS but I've tried every way (dragging on icon, opening from the app, double clicking file) and get the message: 'Could not complete your request because Photoshop does not recognisze this type of file). 
Do the files need to be converted in some way to make them compatible?

A DRX file is Resolve's internal format. No, you cannot open it with PS. But you can open the gigazillion standard formats you can import and export including PSDs, TIFFs, PNGs, JPGs and whatnot.
