Opening a RAW file in the RAW Converter

I have the latest versions of Photoshop/Bridge/Lightroom/Camera RAW, operating under the latest version of Windows 10.

I am using a Dell 4K screen, and I have a second basic screen as well.

When I launch a RAW photograph in Camera RAW from Bridge, I get a rectangle appearing in the Photo.

Within this rectangle, the photo is darker and richer in colour.

If I ignore the rectangle and make my changes, and then open the file in Photoshop, it is OK, the part within the rectangle appears the same as the rest of the photo.

This problem is not stopping me in any way, but I find it annoying as I don't understand why it is there.

Any help would be appreciated.

    Does turning of Photoshop > Preferences > Camera Raw > Use Graphics Processor and restarting Photoshop make a difference?

    There may be an issue with your GPU driver.
