Opening screen on Ps is blank!

Hello, I recently switched from Windows to Mac. I just opened Ps for the first time and I'm seeing a blank window (see image). I'm running the newest version of iOS. Also when I try to create a new project the screen flashes open and then closes. Anyone know what I need to do to fix this?

Forgot to mention: I have tried closing and reopening the program several times.

Thanks

Steve

By "latest IOS" I assume you are referring to Mojave which has some issues with Photoshop at this time.

Perhaps going to Preferences and checking both General > Disable Home Screen and Use legacy "New Document Interface" will skirt the problem.

If not, try resetting Preferences (Preferences > General in the lower right area) and restart.

Yes you are correct on the OS. I was lazy and didn't go in to look it up. Still getting familiar with my Mac. LOL.

That "skirted" the problem as you stated. It still opens differently but "so far" it looks like it is working correctly!

    Thanks so much!
