Question

Opinions needed...can I make this a smart object or would it be too complex?

Hi all,

I'm quite new to photoshop and wondering if I'm barking up the wrong tree by trying to make the attached image into a smart object.

The goal is this: to able to take different designs of a jar 'mop top' and superimpose over a blank template, so that I can show people what the design will look like on the product (without having to physically print them, apply them, then spend time in the photography room).

I thought maybe I could do this by creating a smart object but I don't have much knowledge on this subject, and it seems quite complex with all the folds in the paper etc.

Is it possible, or is there an easier way that I'm missing?

Thanks in advance!
