Paint bucket tool paints balck no matter what color i choose.

guys can somebody help me this is driving me crazy if i used the paint bucket to change color it works but then if I want to change the color again no matter what color I choose once I use the paint bucket it goes black.any help i can not finish what i'm doing because it always turns it black after that im not able to change color.

    First, save the file, close and restart Photoshop. If that doesn't correct the problem, with the Paint Bucket chosen, reset the Paint Bucket tool by right-clicking on the Paint Bucket symbol in the top left of the Options Bar and choosing Reset Tool. If the problem remains, post a full screen shot. Be sure the Image, the Layers and Channels panels, and Options bar are clearly displayed.

    have you tried changeing in image options into and Mode anmd RBG Colors???

    Thank you for the reply I will try this. Let me just restart the project because I had to delete it. But before I deleted the project I saved and restarted Photoshop and the problem remain. Now I will start again and once I get the problem again I will reset the paint tool and see if it fix it if not ill be back to post those images.

    Good. If, after looking at the image you post, the cause of the malfunction is not apparent, it may be time to try resetting Preferences.
