Pantone TCX and Photoshop (color matching a created color with this Pantone Library)

Hi everybody!

I know already in Photoshop how to match a color with pre existing Pantone Library already installed (the ones by default) but would like to do the same regarding a specific Pantone Library (*.aco or *.ase format) that I downloaded from the Pantone Manager.

I copied *.aco files in the default program folder but unfornately do not have them as the default ones (so can't do my matching).

Anyone has a solution for this?

Thansk a lot for your help!

N.

Pantone Color Manager will export them to Photoshop for you without having to copy to the exact directories.

I select the color book and use the export command.

but would like to do the same regarding a specific Pantone Library ... I copied *.aco files in the default program folder

If you want the colors to be available in the Color Picker’s Color Libraries’ Book list you’ll need an .acb file, which should be in Presets>Color Books. The Swatches panel lets you load .aco files

    Hi,

I put my *.aco files into: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2019\Presets\Color Books, but I unfortunately still do not see my books :(, I tried also to change the ending format to *.acb by renaming but same thing... I can't see them from the Color Picker's tool... Note: I have the administrative rights on my machine. thanks
