Question

Pasting externally no longer working in Photoshop CS6- solved

It has been working for years, and now suddnely isn't.

When I make a selection, ctrl C I can paste it into another layer, or a new document in photoshop itself.

But if I try and paste that selection into anything else it no longer works.

I used to copy image A and paste it into, say, Google, for instance, but now instead of my selection it'll paste the last thing in my clipboard.

-resetting preferences fixed the issue

I've tried restarting photshop and my pc, but is still happening.

What OS are you using? Did you do a recent Windows upgrade?

Hi there,

That shouldn't be happening, let's fix this!

Could you try resetting the preferences of Photoshop and let us know if it helps?

Note: Make sure that you back up all your custom presets, brushes and actions before restoring Photoshop's preferences. Migrate presets, actions, and settings
