Hi community, hope everyone's well!

Recently, I stumbled across a ".pat" file that contains some patterns and all of them have that small icon on the top left corner with the number "16", what does it mean? How can I make it and/or remove it?
(I attached a photo of that)

Thx in advance 🙂

Correct answer Semaphoric

The 16 means it is 16 bits per channel. 8 bit per channel patterns have plain icons.

16 bit patterns work fine in 8 bit documents, and vice versa.
