Pattern Overlay Size Incorrect

Hi,

I've created a Pattern Tile to use at 100% when filling with the Pattern Overlay function. This has previously worked with everything from the Pattern Overlay function being at the same size as the Pattern Tile I created. Now when I use the Pattern Overlay function the pattern is bigger than the Pattern Tile when I apply it at 100%.

What Can I do to fix this?

I don't want to reduce the percentage size in the Pattern Overlay function to match the Pattern Tile size.

Thanks in advance.

Are you using pixels as the reference for your sizing? I'm not seeing an issue. I did a 100px pattern at 300 ppi and put in into a 100 ppi res image, just to see if the res messed it up. No problem. The overlay was at 100 px at 100%. Maybe reset your preferences?

Just as I thought: you need to go by pixel dimension. If you go by any other unit value, you have to make sure the ppi matches also.

Hi,

I just tried the prefernce reset and it didn't work.

I'm using cm to measure the size difference. I have a human that's 6cm on the pattern tile, but when I use Pattern Overlay at 100%, the human is 9cm. I've never had this probelm before, I've previously used the pattern tile and the human was 6cm when I used the pattern overlay at 100%.

Thanks heaps for your suggestion.
