PDF Issues

Hi All

I'm using the latest version of Photoshop and when I opened a PDF yesterday the text had all converted to dots (even though in the preview pane it looked fine).  The PDF opens fine in Acrobat too.  Also previous files that have opened fine have also been replaced by dots....  Any ideas??  Thanks

Rasterize the font would stop the issue, the draw back is, if you need to do any type change you better save one with the type not Rasterize.

Hi, thank you for your replies

When I select the PDF in Photoshop the preview shows the image correctly. It is only when I open it in replaces the text with the dots (I can't upload a copy of the original PDF due to GDPR).

Other PDFs that I have opened before, which have been previously fine, are also doing the same thing.

If I open the PDF in Acrobat it displays fine.

Are the fonts Type 1?

Why do you convert the pdfs to pixels?
