Pen Pressure not working with any of my brushes

Hello, today I decided to ditch my older version of PS and started the free trial for PS CC. In preperation I uninstalled the old version. Just earlier today I was digitally painting without any issues painting with brushes.

Now after installing Photoshop CC pen pressure does not work with any brush. Confused, I thought maybe I should try updating my wacom intuos 4 drivers, that didn't fix it either. It doesn't matter what options I check such as 'Always use pressure for opacity' nothing works. Please see the gif below to illustrate this. Notice the first few strokes under 'current pressure' on the left hand side under wacom tablet properties are very low. Strokes after that are at maximum pressure, but yet there is no visible difference in the marks.

I am quickly becoming frustrated.

Found the issue, there is some sort of bug with windows 10. If windows ink is disabled, most pens (including wacom) will not run correctly. I re enabled it and it runs seems to be working now.

Check your brush settings at the top of the screen. It appears nothing is activated for pressure (size or opacity).

Without one of these icons active - pressure won't do anything.
