Pen Pressure Randomly Cuts Off

Okay, so I am using a Wacom Intuos Draw CTL940DW drawing tablet and am having an issue. After a recent Windows and Wacom update, the pen will now randomly lose pressure sensitivity and leave me with big ugly lines and I end up having to undo and redraw it until I get it right and the lines cooperate. Like I said, I updated all my drivers and windows already so from what I can tell that shouldn't be an issue. I've also been searching around for solutions and the most recent one are from a few years ago and aren't helping. Does anybody know what's going on here?

    You don't mention what OS and Photoshop versions you have and you haven't mentioned what solutions you already tried so not sure if you tried this one

    Sorry about that. Yeah, it's Photshop CC 2018 and I am running on Windows 10. It all started after the most recent Windows update. And unfortunately I have tried the solution you sent and it didn't work. Thank you for trying to help me though
