Pen tool Alt + Click collapse handle update

I just updated Photoshop (12/2023) and have found the Convert Point and Pen Tool Alt + Click shortcut have been unhelpfully updated.
How do I revert the Pen Tool Alt + Click back to collapse handle from the recent update to the Eyedropper

Tool?
Alternatively, is there a new shortcut?
Finally, the Convert Point tool will only collapse both handles now rather than collapse handles individually. Is this a bug, or is there a new way of collapsing only one of the two handles?

For the time being use Version 25.2, Install from creative cloud.

I am not claiming the released Photoshop version does not also contain bugs, but please just don’t use the Photoshop Beta version if you have such a hard time accepting what that entails.

Posting about a (recurring) bug on the Photoshop (Beta) Forum is great and essentially what the public Beta is for, but going on about such a Beta bug on the Photoshop Forum seems misdirected.

Y'all fixed this, which was much appreciated.
But then, with the following update, it was back to this frustrating loss of function.
Is there an intention behind this?
Why do users need the eyedropper tool whilst using the pen tool more than the convert anchor point tool?
It's incomprehensible to me because I constantly use the convert anchor point tool when using the pen tool.
I'd be interested to know what that reason is because quite a few people must need this bizarre function to disable the use of PS Beta for me and everyone else who uses the convert anchor point tool.

NB. I also this comment is posted this comment in another thread. I'll post in any thread on the topic in an effort to get attention.

Because why?
I hope the answer to that question isn't "ef you, that's why" ; )

Im too having the same problem! I´ve been using Photoshop for 15 years and they never changed this.

This is so wrong and It's interfering with my workflow.

We can´t find any shortcut for this and no place where can it be added again.

At Ilustrator they still keep it.

ADOBE WE WANT THIS COMAND BACK!!!!

I agree - I've been using Photoshop, since 1998.  There is no reason to remove the command for the pen tool!

Yes, I am.
Thanks for the link.
It's good to know that others have the same frustration because it increases the chance of resolving this soon.
In the meantime, I'll use my old laptop with old Photoshop ; )
