Pen tool bug in photoshop

Hi there.

This has been an ongoing issue for me. When I am using the pen tool in photoshop, the program will randomly freeze, and I won't be able to use any features once this has happened. I can scroll around the document but that's about it. The only solution is to save my work and reboot photoshop, but then I lose my path (even if I save it). Good times!

It can happen when I'm halfway through, or when I'm literally about to connect the path back up with the starting point (this literally just happened and I almost threw my macbook out of the window).

It's been happening for a few months now. I should have reported it earlier but I just assumed it was an obvious thing that Abobe would have picked up on and fixed it by now.
