Pen tool & Clone stamp tool feel somewhat heavy & slow in Photoshop 22.5 on Windows 10

hi.

 

After updating with the latest version

few days ago, (22.5.0)
when I use the pen tool and the Clone stamp tool, the feel of the use is somewhat heavy and slow.

 

Shall I re-install the latest version?

Or shall I downgrade the version of the software?

Hi,

 

We're sorry about the trouble with the Pen tool & the Clone stamp tool in Photoshop 22.5. Would you mind telling us if the issue started right after the latest update?

 

You can try enabling the option to Deactivate Native Canvas in Photoshop by going to Preferences, then Technology Previews. Once done, quit & relaunch Photoshop to check if that helps.

 

If the issue persists, you can try to reset the preferences of Photoshop manually using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/2Qzc0K3

Please backup your settings prior to resetting the preferences. You can check: https://adobe.ly/2vNz6FG

    Did the above steps help to resolve the issue related to Pen and Clone Stamp tool? Also, you can update Photoshop to the 22.5.1 version which includes many bug fixes. Check the list of other fixed issues here 

     

    To update Photoshop to 22.5.1, click "Update" in the Creative Cloud desktop app next to Photoshop. More detailed instructions for updating
